Rena Sobol

Scarsdale, NY

Early in her career, Rena Sobol functioned as a New York-based pharmacist. First garnering her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from New York University, Sobol later enrolled at Long Island University's Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences to learn about pharmacy service. Her customers trusted her for medical advice, immunizations, prescription guidance, and information related to a number of conditions and disorders. Rena Sobol’s employers also relied on her to open and close their stores and provide excellent service to all customers. When not aiding others, Sobol treks around the world, to places such as France, England, and Israel. A lover of Paris, she finds pleasure walking on the city’s cobblestone streets and witnessing the multitude of cultural landmarks the country offers. Places such as the Notre Dame de Paris, the Sorbonne, and the Jardin du Luxembourg represent some of the locations around the Latin Quarter that Rena Sobol enjoys seeing. An art aficionado with a particular appreciation for the works of Picasso, Degas, Renoir, and Monet, she regularly visits museums such as the Musée du Louvre and the Musée Picasso to see their masterpieces. However, Israel remains the most frequent destination for Sobol, who also contributes to The American Israel Public Affairs Committee and A Package from Home, an organization that sends clothing to soldiers.
