Course: BA Communication Research Favorite Book: “The Penderwicks” (2005) by Jean Birdsall. One of the very first novels I have read in my childhood; can still recall the warmth of the book's joyful yarns and anecdotes while making you unaware that something that is really surprising is always about to happen in-between or after each. Favorite Film: “Requiem for a Dream” (2000) by Darren Aronofsky. It’s just beautiful. You'd get to feel both the ache and the patience the filmmaker has put in expressing his art and intellect; something of high relevance will remind people towards the end. Favorite Media Practitioner: I am not particularly a fan of any single filmmaker (or any media practitioner), but Darren Aronofsky has really got to be my favorite primarily because of "Requiem". Favorite Song: “Flightless Bird, American Mouth” (2007) by Iron And Wine. It can both make me happy and sad (just like any other song of same tempo). Favorite Website: www.letterboxd.com; because it is all about film! Favorite Meal: My mom’s own version of classic tomato spaghetti; it's so good! Hobbies: Traveling; watching films; listening to contemporary pop music; visiting libraries, exhibits, and museums; reading magazines.
