Anne Moulard contemporary photography
Anne Moulard is a French photographer, she develops long-term photographic projects based on observation, attention to detail, and repeated visits to the same locations. Her sensitive work at the crossroads of documentary and poetry, is particularly embodied in the series on the fishing harbor "La Maison Blanche" (2003-2010, Brest), where film becomes a medium for chromatic and graphic experimentation. Presented at the gathering of amateur fishermen and at the Maison Pour Tous cultural center (with a scenography created from a fishing net loaned by a fisherman), this series illustrates her collaborative approach, rooted in reality. Anne Moulard has participated in several photographic exhibitions (Pluie d'images in Brest, l'Image publique in Rennes, etc.). She has also exhibited alongside Willy Ronis on the island of Molène, and some of her photographs have graced the covers of specialized publications. Several of her works have been acquired, including one at auction. Her photographic work explores the apparent banality of everyday life, highlighting its heritage, color, graphic quality, and unexpected aspects. She also has extensive experience in cultural mediation and communication.
